The birthday of the project «The Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the World Collections» can be considered spring 2015.
Today, it is obvious that there is a need to further develop scientific cooperation with the world’s leading institutions, universities, scientific centers and academies of sciences. Comprehensive support for science and scholars is one of the priorities of the state. This idea is reflected in many decrees and government documents. As for our project, the issues of preservation, research and promotion of Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage are the focus of the head’s of state attention. And due to this attention and creation of appropriate conditions – is the main key to the successful implementation of the project.
Since then, tremendous amount of work has been done to preserve and promote Uzbekistan’s cultural heritage. Both International Congress and Cultural Heritage Week «Uzbekistan – Crossroads of Ways and Civilizations: empires, religions, cultures», I am confident, new horizons for further research and amazing discoveries will open.
