In the book-album “Traditional Uzbek Costume on Materials of Museum and Private Collections of Uzbekistan” based on historical data (written sources, wall paintings, sculptures, miniatures, and photographs) and preserved samples of clothing, the richest national heritage of the Uzbek people is presented. The main emphasis is to reveal its regional features. The first part is devoted to men’s and women’s clothes worn in Bukhara, Samarkand, Tashkent and Fergana valley.
