VOLUME VI MUSICAL LEGACY OF UZBEKISTAN IN THE COLLECTIONS OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION
The book is based on the collection of musical instruments from the collection of A.F. Eihgorn – the military conductor and musical ethnographer. Along with this, the book gives a description of the history of musical instruments in the territory of Uzbekistan, beginning with the Bronze Age (III-II millennium BC) and up to the present day. The book is supplemented with a brief overview of a number of foreign collections, in which there are objects of Uzbekistan’s musical heritage. A unique application to the book will be a CD with rare entries of the national Uzbek classical.
