A facsimile copy of the divan of the Khan of Kokand will be prepared

The Center of Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan plans to prepare another important scientific media project - "Writers who created during the reign of Amir Umar Khan," as well as a facsimile of his divan.

Amir Umar Khan was not only the Khan of Kokand, but also a poet. He considered Lutfi, Jami, Navoi, Fuzuli, and Bedil his mentors, learned the secrets of creativity from them, created works following them, and composed mukhammases to his ghazals. All these poems, written only in light and playful meters of aruz, popular in Turkic literature and widespread in folk art, are about love and romance.

He compiled a collection of his poems in Uzbek and Persian-Tajik. The divan contains more than 10 thousand verses in the genres of ghazal, mukhammas, musaddas, and tuyuq. A deep study of his creative heritage is important not only for the restoration of historical truths, but also for the further enhancement of our spiritual life today.

Through this media project, the writers who lived and worked during the reign of Amir Umar Khan (1787-1822), their scientific and spiritual activities, works, and historical significance are deeply studied. In particular, written sources, historical documents, manuscripts, and other evidence from that period are studied. As a result, scientific developments will be prepared, on the basis of which the exposition of the Center of Islamic Civilization will be enriched.

In addition, within the framework of the project, multimedia content will be prepared - video clips, articles, infographics, and special materials for social networks. This will allow the public, especially the younger generation, to become more closely acquainted with the literary environment of the era of Amir Umar Khan.
