Today, at the Research Center for Islamic History, Art, and Culture (IRCICA) under the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), an event was launched, organized in collaboration with the Center for Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan, WOSCU, and IRCICA.
These events mark another important step in strengthening cultural ties between Uzbekistan and Turkey, as well as promoting Islamic heritage on the international stage.

As part of the event, the photo exhibition titled "New Uzbekistan: Time, Space, and Cultural Heritage" was opened. This exhibition highlights Uzbekistan’s rich history and unique culture, showcasing it through the prism of time and space. The opening ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials and leading figures in science and culture, including the Director of the Center for Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan, Firdavs Abdukhalikov, IRCICA Director and WOSCU Scientific Council member Mahmud Erol Kılıç, Professor of Tekirdağ University and Scientific Advisor to the Center for Islamic Civilization of Uzbekistan Halit Eren, as well as the Director of the Center for Islamic Studies (ISAM) Murtaza Bedir, Director of the Museum of Turkish and Islamic Heritage Ekrem Aytar, Director of the Topkapı Palace Museum İlhan Koçaman, and Deputy Chairman of the National Palaces Administration Abdulhamid Tüfekçioğlu.
The media event “Uzbekistan-Türkiye: Common Roots and Common Heritage” introduced participants to unique projects that emphasize the cultural and historical connections between the two countries. Among these were WOSCU's "114 Qur'ans," "Unique Qur'an Manuscripts Preserved in Turkey," and the "Exhibition of Rare Artifacts from the Timurid Era at the Topkapi Palace Museum."
