The most ancient manuscript about Amir Timur written in Uzbek discovered

According to Badriddin Maksudov - Professor at the National University of Tajikistan, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Navoi scholar, member of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Promotion of the Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan - the oldest manuscript about the life of Amir Timur, written in Uzbek, was discovered in Dushanbe.

— The book devoted to Amir Timur is considered the most ancient manuscript in the Turkic language that has survived to this day, - said Badriddin Maksudov, - According to experts, currently the oldest work in the Turkic language dedicated to Amir Timur is dated 1711.

The final part of the book notes that the manuscript was copied in 1027 AH, in the month of Rajab. This corresponds to June-July, 1618. But it is still unknown who wrote the work, by whom and where it was copied.
