Among Zoroastrian burial items, there is a camel-shaped zoomorphic OSTADON lying there. It was found…
In 1902, a treasury of precious gold items decorated with patterns was discovered around Kesh - present-day Shahrisabz. The treasury contained five women's gold jewelry.
The items in the treasury date back to the 13th-14th centuries. During this period, Shahrisabz was governed by the Great Khan of the Mongol Empire. Considering that Transoxiana belonged to the Chagatai dynasty from 1227 to 1363, it can be noted that the treasure conditionally belonged to the Chagatai clan of the Mongol nobility.
The surface of the jewelry is decorated with filigree (a mesh ornament made of gold or silver). It has been established that they belong to the innovations of the Mongol period.
