Among Zoroastrian burial items, there is a camel-shaped zoomorphic OSTADON lying there. It was found…
Surkhandarya women wore khaikal, tomokles and urpiya as breast adornments. Often, the necklaces were put one on top of the other in several rows: coral beads, coral beads with silver coins, gulband with bobohur, which together with silver setora plates, earrings and rings make the uniqueness of the costume of Uzbek women in Surkhandarya.
Another no less original type of breast decoration was the gulband worn by mountain dwellers and consisting of several (up to 80) threads of multi-colored beads which are red, yellow, white, blue, sometimes having in the center the bobohur amulet - a stone or silver talisman of family happiness.
You will find more examples of national Uzbek clothes in the book-album "Traditional Uzbek costume on materials of museum and private collections of Uzbekistan (Part 2)" (volume XLIX) from the series "Cultural legacy of Uzbekistan in the world collections".
