Firdavs Abdukhalikov: President Shavkat Mirziyoyev is the founder and initiator of the idea of preserving, studying and popularizing our great heritage

The World Society for the Study, Preservation and Popularization of the Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan was created as a result of the openness policy of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in the field of study, preservation and promotion of the cultural heritage of the people of Uzbekistan and his direct support.

"This project was created with the aim of collecting information about masterpieces of art and culture that were created on our land in the past and are currently, for various reasons, stored in the largest libraries and museums in the world, as well as in private collections. Over the past period, with the support of hundreds of scientists, local and international experts, and specialists, 60 volumes of information collected about our unique cultural heritage preserved in different countries of the world have been published in the “Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan” series. At this year's congress, the series will feature 10 new book-albums spanning 61-70 volumes.

In addition, more than a dozen of our publishing projects will be presented.  Of course, collecting them is not easy.  But with the support of our government and sponsoring organizations, as a result of the research of our hardworking scientists, we have the opportunity to study unique sources and present them to our people and the whole world as the cultural legacy of Uzbekistan".
