Manuscript of the work “Suwar al-Kawakib” arabe 5036 contains 74 paintings representing the constellations, each one represented as seen on the earthly sphere and as in the sky.
The style of some of these representations (F. 45 a etc.) may have been partially inspired by pictorial models from China. The Ambassador from China to Timur’s court and the Ambassador sent in 1420 – 1421 by Ulugbek to Beijing had undoubtedly served to development of the interest in Chinese art objects and art models.
