Replenishment of the author's series "Science and Culture in the Works of Scientists" within the framework of the project "Cultural Heritage of Uzbekistan in the Collections of the World": the book by Galina Anatolyevna Pugachenkova "The Art of Architects of Uzbekistan. Mausoleum Arab-Ata "(from the history of architecture of Maverannahr IX-X centuries).
The book contains an architectural analysis of the newly discovered Arab-ata monument in the village of Tim, and also determines its significance in the history of Eastern architecture. His studies were carried out by G.A. Pugachenkova as part of the Uzbekistan Art Criticism Expedition (UZACE) established by her of the Institute of Art History of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Architect Pulod Zakhidov and archaeologist Bakhodir Turgunov, who are no longer among us, took part in the expedition to Arab-ata.
This book is a kind of tribute to the memory of the first researchers of the mausoleum.
