Collection of State Art Museum of Uzbekistan

The State Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan boasts a unique collection of objects of decorative and applied art created in Uzbekistan.

It began to form in the 1930s, when the Department of Folk Art was established in the museum.

The museum's exposition features several items from Rishtan dated to the late 19th century with an elegant brush painting.

The most common motifs in Rishtan ceramics are chorbarg (four-leaf figure), anorgul (pomegranate flower and pomegranate fruits), bodomgul (stylized almond flower), barg (leaf) and islimi (spiral plant shoots).
