The documentary Uzbekistan. The Warmth and Generosity of the Dastarkhan will be premiered on the Russia-K (Culture) channel

On June 18, at 2:30 p.m., the TV channel Russia-K (Culture) will show the documentary Uzbekistan. The Warmth and Generosity of the Dastarkhan. 

The film tells about the legendary Uzbek cuisine. The dastarkhan is a true ritual, a well-thought-out and century-old ceremony.
Fragrant pilaf, homemade halisa, sacred bread and royal tukhum-barak, fabulous halva and ceremonial sumolak – all this is not just food, but a lifestyle, and each dish has its own interesting story.

Cooks, confectioners, historians and art critics will tell about recipes and little-known facts from one of the most popular cuisines in Eurasia.
