On behalf of WOSCU, the book-album series “The Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan” presented to the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Today in the Scientific Library of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a ceremony was held to transfer 50 volumes of the series “The Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the world collection” to the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan on behalf of WOSCU, in conjunction with the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As part of the ceremony, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Saidikram Niyazhodjaev, presented a set of 50 volumes of the series “The Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the world collection” to Aibek Sydykov, the director of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Additionally, during the meeting, the author of more than 500 scientific works published in 10 languages, academician and professor Zhaken Taimagambetov also made a speech.
Last year, a part of the collection of museums in Kazakhstan, including the Abylkhan Kasteyev State Museum of Arts, which is related to the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan, was reflected in the publications "The Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the Museums of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan" and "The Collection of the Abylkhan Kasteyev State Museum of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan". Such joint projects will continue in the future.
