The Center for Islamic Civilization in Uzbekistan plans to have continuous Qur'an recitation

After the opening of the museum at the Center for Islamic Civilization (CIC) in Uzbekistan, the Qur'an will be recited 24 hours a day in the 'Hall of Qur'ans.' This was reported by Rustam Jabbarov, PhD in Philology and a member of the editorial board of the World Society for the Study, Preservation, and Promotion of Uzbekistan’s Cultural Heritage (WOSCU), in his presentation on the projects aimed at forming the CIC museum's exhibition.

Jabbarov’s report focused on the plans for arranging the museum, which is set to open in the currently under-construction building of the Center for Islamic Civilization.

'The main concept for the museum design initially consisted of nine sections, but it has since been revised to five. These will include the pre-Islamic period, the First, Second, and Third Renaissances, as well as the Hall of Qur'ans. The halls will be equipped with the latest technology. The Qur'an will be recited 24 hours a day in the Hall of Qur'ans,' said the scholar.
