Cultural legacy of Uzbekistan in the collections of Italy

Did you know that various artifacts once created in the territory of Uzbekistan are now kept in museum and private collections in Rome, Milan, Turin, Florence and Como?

These are ceramics of Afrasiab, architectural tiles of the Timurids' epoch, magnificent suzani, samples of clothes dating back to the late medieval Uzbek khanates, striking in their beauty, and much more.

It is also worth mentioning that  the book-album Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the Collection of Italy includes a separate chapter which is devoted to the only surviving manuscript containing the Hebrew translation of the full text of the Canon of Medicine by Abu Ali ibn Sina, which is now stored in Bologna.
