“Nafosat” festival took place in Samarkand

On the first day of the “Nafosat” festival, an exhibition of national costumes created by designers and folk craftsmen opened at the Samarkand Youth Center, sputnik reports.

Within the framework of the festival, a seminar-training “Clothing culture among women and youth” was held, in which a number of local specialists, leading designers took part with their reports, and a fashion show “History of Samarkand national clothes” was held.

On the second day of the event, the participants of the festival got acquainted with the leading educational center “Bibikhanum” and attended the show “Contemporary Uzbek fashion, traditions and new designs” and new collections of leading Uzbek designers.
