Kokand Museum-Reserve consists of six museums and four cultural monuments
They include:
– Kokand State Museum-Reserve, whose core is housed by the Urda (palace) of Khudoyar Khan;
– Museum of Applied Arts (Jami mosque-madrasah);
– Museum of Great Scholars (a special building added to the museum);
– Literary Museum (former building of the State Bank);
– Cell of Mukimi Museum (Sahibzoda Khazrat, Miyon Khazrat madrasah);
– House-museum of Khamza Hakimzade Niyazi (traditional 19th-century Uzbek house);
– Norbutabiya madrasah;
– Dakhmai Modarikhan mausoleum;
– Dasturkhanchi madrasah;
– Tepakurgan archaeological site.
The total number of exhibits today is 47,712. The collection continues to grow.
