A book revealing the main stages in the development of Uzbek cinema is going to be published in Uzbekistan
The book-album "Cinema Art of Uzbekistan" (https://telegra.ph/V-Uzbekistane-budet-izdana-kniga-raskryvayushchaya-osnovnye-ehtapy-razvitiya-kinematografa-06-23-2) tells about the formation and the main development stages of cinematography in our country.
The research was dictated by the need for a balanced and objective assessment and analysis of the huge layer of Uzbek visual art of the 20th-21st centuries, which, over decades of dynamic transformations, has become a striking phenomenon, an integral part of the world artistic heritage.
A new approach to the study of cinema takes into account the influence of technological, social, economic, and cultural factors. The book-album is intended both for film experts and for a wide range of readers interested in the history of domestic film art.
The project is supported by the international oilfield service company Eriell Group. The book-album will be presented at the 6th Congress of the World Society for the Study, Preservation and Promotion of the Cultural Legacy of Uzbekistan in the summer of 2022.
