Today’s issue is dedicated to the Andijan woodcarver Yulbarsali Utegenov, who studied this art on his own.
Today Yulbarsali Utegenov is the author of the decoration of a number of monumental objects, both historical and modern.
He participated in the reconstruction of more than ten historical architectural objects, and also produced objects for the Square of Memory and Honor in Tashkent, worked on the Imam al Bukhari complex in Samarkand.
The mastery of Yulbarsali Utegenov is also manifested in the design of household products, lauchs, caskets, lagans, pencil cases. The master tries to synthesize traditional carving with modern forms of furniture. Today, the master has more than a hundred students, has created his own school of woodcarving.
